In 1987 LL Cool J released a hit called "
Going back to Cali". A main line in the chorus was "
I'm going back to Cali.. hmm, I don't think so". Well, I don't think the abandoned car in the surface lot on the 300 block of K Street NW is going back to Cali either.

This car needs to go. I don't care if it goes back to Cali but it can't stay here. We don't need this symbol of vandalism in the neighborhood or the
tranny ho hooker shoe storage area.

The transgendered prostitutes were working 5th and Eye park all weekend.
I have that album - Walking With A Panther...same album had Jingling Baby on it.
Going Back to Blue Plains is more like it!
Out of all the illegal activity there is, those girls/boys are pretty harmless. I work very late some nights and can walk right by them without being hasseled or feeling uneasy.
Found them leaning against my parked car when I went to retrieve it at 6 am on Saturday. They moved along with no hassle, but I still felt pretty uncomfortable about the whole situation...
I've been verbally harassed by these "gals" on numerous occasions. I can only guess they don't like that I walk the neighborhood with a camera taking pictures of trees, buildings, etc... Anyway, I'm an adult I can handle that... what I don't tolerate is that they treat our streets like a toilet/trash can/crack den...
Sorry anonymous 11:35 but I was walking down Eye Street from 5th to 4th yesterday afternoon with an 11 month in a stroller and a john was zipping up his pants right there in front of us on the sidewalk. The problem with these prostitutes have to do with the johns who have no commitment to anything but trashing out our neighborhood and making it unsafe. We need to get some enforcement pronto.
I hope that people’s objections are over their activities and not that they are transgender or dress differently.
I think we all agree that prostitution of any type is undesirable in our neighborhood, no need to single out any group. Also, that car has got to go!
UPDATE: The car is gone. I believe the MVT CID nudged the parking lot attendant to take action.
Sorry I'm late on this one but dang...Jingling Baby was my jam! Glad the car is finally gone.
