is this for real? more like a condo tour?
yeah, it's basically a condo tour. But it will be the homes of residents not sales models.
Cool. I think the ladies down at 4th and L call these things "casing the joint".
Awww...come on. I'm just kidding. Kind of.
Just curious -- no one has checked with my building's site manager or BOD regarding a building event next month. If there are going to be folks traipsing through a building, do you not think that some coordination and approvals should happen with that building? All the building's in the area are controlled-access. Are they expected to just let anyone in on that date?
@Anon 12:28 - I don't know the extent to which CID has progressed in negotiations with individual buildings. My hunch is the buildings with developer controlled BODs are already committed. It's important to note that the memo states the tour "may include" certain buildings.
As for the issue of access... Those taking the tour will be purchasing tickets. They will be greeted at the doors by resident volunteers verifying they have tickets. Hopefully the plan is to have enough volunteers to escort groups from the lobby directly to the showcase units in the buildings.
