The closing program will consist of scenes from The Wiz, Piano Lesson, A Raisin in the Sun, and The Road Not Taken by Robert Frost, and will celebrate the achievements of 112 young ladies from the District of Columbia who participated in this challenging program designed to introduce them to careers in the fields of theatrical makeup, costume design, staging, set design, and acting. In addition to learning dramatic arts, students have also been educated in decorum, manners, dining etiquette, diction, grammar, and vocabulary by participating in bi-weekly Rhetoric and Charm School classes.
